What is the toggle recoil technique?

Toggle recoil is a gentle chiropractic technique that is preferred by many patients when treating the upper cervical spine (neck) . The treatment is designed to correct mis-alignments in the upper neck, and aims to help reduce pressure on the brain stem and spinal cord and restore normal neurological functioning.

what to expect with Toggle recoil:

This technique is delivered with a practitioners hands, however, unlike the high velocity low amplitude (HVLA) thrust within a normal manipulation / adjustment.

This chiropractic adjustment is very soft, quick, and safe to do, and is sometimes preferred by patients who are nervous of upper cervical adjustments. This technique do not hurt, and is commonly felt by patients as a gentle tap on the side of the neck.
